Privacy Policy

In short

Who we are

Two In Play is made by Ing. Jan Žitník, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic (EU), Company ID (IČO) 29938155, Skokanská 433, 460 08 Liberec. For anything about privacy, write to [email protected].

What stays on your phone

Everything you enter or choose in the app stays on your device: player names, game settings, the cards you draw and whether Premium is active. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. The app asks for no device permissions. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Anonymous usage numbers

To see how the game is used and what to improve, the app sends us a handful of anonymous events: which steps of the game were reached, such as a game started or finished, the Premium page opened or a purchase made, together with basic details like the app version, the platform (iOS or Android), the language and the screen size.

There is no name, email, device ID, advertising ID or card content in it. We cannot tell which phone an event came from. You can turn these numbers off in the app under Menu → Privacy Policy. When you turn them off, the app sends one last anonymous event saying so, and then nothing more.

The events are stored for us by Supabase Inc. (opens in a new tab) (USA), a database hosting provider that only holds them on our behalf, under a data processing agreement with EU standard contractual clauses, so EU data protection rules apply to them. Individual events are deleted after 90 days; only totals remain. When your phone sends an event, the provider technically sees the IP address in order to deliver it; the address is not stored with the events, and the provider keeps its connection logs only briefly.

Purchases

Premium is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple (opens in a new tab) or Google (opens in a new tab) handle the payment under their own privacy policies; we never receive your name, email or payment details. The app only remembers on your phone that Premium is active. Apple and Google may also give us anonymous, aggregated statistics about downloads, sales and crashes, if you allowed that in your device settings.

Age

Two In Play is for adult couples aged 18 and over.

The website twoinplay.com

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (opens in a new tab) (USA). It sets no cookies and has no forms. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address in short-lived technical logs to deliver the pages and fend off attacks, under safeguards approved by the EU. If you email us, we keep the conversation only as long as we need it to help you.

To know how many people visit the website and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a measurement service by the same company. A small script reports that a page was viewed, together with the page address, the site you came from, your country, your browser and device type, and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and, as Cloudflare states, does not track individual visitors by IP address or any other characteristic. We only ever see totals. Your IP address serves only to deliver the report and to determine the country; it is not shown to us. We do this in our legitimate interest in knowing whether the website works and is useful. Cloudflare processes the data in the USA under safeguards approved by the EU.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. In practice the only personal data we may hold is our email correspondence with you, if you have written to us. The usage numbers and the website statistics are completely anonymous, so there is nothing in them we could find or delete. Write to [email protected].

If you write to us, we use your message and your email address only to reply to you (our legitimate interest). We process the anonymous events, the hosting logs and the website statistics to run and improve the app and the website. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection or to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. We announce important changes in the app or on this page.
